Lag or Lag Free --You Decide

In 90-days, Midnight Reflections received a total of 1100 complaints that were Lag related. The complaint counts were taken from public chat logs and im’s sent to our staff. In response to our guests, we’ve addressed this complaint by enforcing a “Fair Avatar Resource Usage Policy”.

In essence, ensuring that a small handful of AV’s do not consume 60% of the resources on “other guests computers” by loading themselves down with extraneous extras. The result has been positive. With loads as high as 65, we’ve increased performance by almost 50%, while complaints of lag on the 3 nights we enforced the resource policy have been zero.

Now that we’ve granted the no Lag wish, seems a handful of people either refuse to read the explanation provided: http://midnightreflectionslive.com/lag-solution/ or are just plain selfish in that they could care less about bogging down other guests computers with their over bloated AV’s.

So you decide, but you can’t have it both ways. Do you want Lag Free, or would you rather return to a laggy /frozen environment, for the sake of wearing your 3000 prim hair, boots, and other poorly written scripts, which only serve to bring everyone else’s computer to a grinding halt?
